By accessing and using the SIEH (Student Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services.

SIEH provides entrepreneurial education, mentorship programs, incubation and acceleration services, access to capital resources, and a digital ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs. Our services include:

  • Online courses and training materials
  • Mentorship and coaching sessions
  • Access to physical hub facilities
  • Networking opportunities and events
  • Funding application assistance
  • Business development resources

3. User Eligibility

Our services are primarily designed for minority college students and recent graduates in underserved communities. Users must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use our platform. By registering, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. User Account

To access certain features of our platform, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the SIEH platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, is the property of SIEH or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

6. User Conduct

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform
  • Use any automated means to access the platform without our permission
  • Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code

7. Course and Program Enrollment

Enrollment in courses and programs is subject to availability and eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any course or program at any time. Completion of courses does not guarantee any specific outcome, employment, or funding.

8. Mentorship Program

Participation in our mentorship program is subject to matching availability. Mentors are independent advisors and their advice does not constitute professional legal, financial, or business advice. SIEH is not responsible for any decisions made based on mentor guidance.

9. Funding and Capital Access

SIEH provides assistance and guidance for accessing funding opportunities. We do not guarantee approval of any funding applications. All funding decisions are made by respective financial institutions, grant providers, or investors based on their own criteria.

10. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIEH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIEH, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
